Dr. Sheps completed the McKenzie Institute International MDT curriculum Part B – MDT: Cervical and Thoracic Spine in San Diego, progressing from foundational to advanced courses covering the lumbar, cervical, and thoracic spine, as well as upper and lower extremities. His training emphasized classification, clinical reasoning, and evidence-based management of musculoskeletal conditions.
The MDT Program of Certification combines comprehensive post-graduate coursework with both onsite and fully online instruction via the Schoology LMS, guided by experienced faculty. This program prepares clinicians for the Credentialing Examination, integrates them into the MDT referral network, and ensures adherence to ongoing Continuing Education standards.
In addition, Dr. Sheps completed advanced and masterclass-level courses focused on clinical decision-making, manual techniques, chronic pain, radicular syndromes, and sports medicine applications, further enhancing his ability to diagnose, manage, and optimize patient outcomes using MDT principles.
