What is the emField Pro? 

The emField Pro delivers High Energy Inductive Therapy–a treatment that is designed to address pain and enhance the body’s natural regenerative ability. The device Dr. Sheps uses is manufactured by Zimmer MedizinSysteme.

How does it work?

Healthy cells have a higher membrane charge than diseased cells. When a cell lacks sufficient charge, the cell cannot carry out its function as it is supposed to. The emField Pro provides electromagnetic field stimulation that is intended to increase the energy available to damaged or diseased cells. This added energy helps cells improve their function without damage to the cells or other body parts (both internal and external).

What can I expect from treatment?

Pain is not always evenly distributed, which is why the emField Pro provides a combined application approach. The device has two applicators: a larger applicator that delivers static treatment and a medium-sized applicator that delivers dynamic treatment. Static treatment is used to address maximum pain and trigger points, while dynamic treatment targets pain that lies outside the main treatment area. 

The use of static and dynamic treatments will depend on the nature and severity of your injury or condition. The number of recommended treatments will similarly depend on your specific injury or condition.
