Plantar Fasciitis 

Plantar Fasciitis refers to pain in the heel that occurs when the ‘plantar fascia’–the tissue that runs from your heel to your toes–becomes inflamed. Pain from plantar fasciitis is not always constant; for example, it is common for pain to reach its height first thing in the morning and then to decrease as you move throughout your day. Pain may worsen after extended periods of immobility.

Common Symptoms:

The most common symptom of plantar fasciitis is a stabbing pain near your heel.
